Tandem Player is an offline desktop player for Windows that keeps your video and your device moving together.
Point it at the folders you already have. It finds your videos, pairs them with their .funscript motion files — the scripts can live in a folder of their own, on another drive, and they are still matched by name — builds thumbnails, and plays them with your device driven live off the script's timeline. That index is built on your PC, nothing about your library is sent to me, and there is no account to make.
Unlocking your key asks the licence server. If it cannot be reached, the key unlocks anyway for seven days, and Tandem tries again each time it starts — sending the key again until the server answers. Once that goes through, Tandem plays with the internet unplugged: the unlock is a file on your own PC, good for a year. Once per launch, about half a minute in, Tandem asks the licence server whether your key has been moved to another PC. That request carries a licence reference and a one-way code for the machine, never a filename and nothing about what you play, and if it cannot get through nothing changes.
That same check collects the next year. Once the unlock file is inside its last two months, it also asks for a fresh one and gets it, with nothing shown and nothing to confirm — so one launch in those two months that reaches the server and stays open half a minute moves the year forward, and in normal use you do not reach the end of it. The new year runs from that moment, not from the old date. If nothing gets through across that whole two months, the year runs out: Tandem keeps working for seven more days, then goes back to the free build until the next launch that reaches the server, which unlocks it again straight away. Your key and your settings are untouched either way.
One key covers one PC. You move it to a different PC by pasting the same key on the new one — there is nothing to deactivate or hand back first. The first move is free, and after that a move waits 30 days.
WHAT IT CONNECTS TO
- SR6, OSR2 and other TCode devices, over USB serial
- The Handy
- Autoblow
- Anything supported by Buttplug / Intiface
- TCode over UDP or WebSocket, for your own setup or a simulator
Two of those are not local. Tandem drives The Handy and Autoblow through their makers' own cloud services, which is the interface those devices offer, so playing to either one sends your script's motion out to them while it plays. The rest are driven straight from your machine.
YOUR LIBRARY, NOT A LIBRARY
- Add as many folders as you like; Tandem scans them and remembers them
- Keep your scripts anywhere — one folder of videos and one folder of funscripts pair up by name across every folder you added, and a Scripts subfolder is found too
- Search by title, and filter by Scripted, Multi-axis, VR, Watched or Unwatched
- Sort by newest, oldest, name, length, folder, or shuffle
- Multi-axis scripts are picked up automatically, including companion files (name.twist.funscript, name.roll.funscript, and the rest) and single files that carry every track inside them
- Pick many at once — drag a box around them, or shift-click — then add the lot to a playlist, rate it, or mark it watched in one go
- Click a video and it opens in fullscreen, with a setting to turn that off
- An intensity strip under the video shows where the action is — click it to jump there
ANIME OR LIVE ACTION
Tandem reads the filename and the folder above it and files each video as one or the other: a small badge on the card, and three more filters in the library bar — Anime, Live action, and Unclassified for the ones the name does not settle. Tag a video yourself and your tag wins, and there is an optional rough guess from the preview image for the rest. This one needs a key — in the free build the three filters stay in the bar with a lock on them.
SHAPE THE MOTION WHILE IT PLAYS
Every adjustment below is live: it shapes what goes to the device while it plays, and leaves your .funscript files alone. (Saving an edit in the region editor is the one thing that does write — see EDIT WITHOUT LEAVING THE PLAYER.)
- Depth — scale every stroke around its own centre, so the script's contrast survives
- Top reach / Bottom reach — push peaks toward the ceiling and valleys toward the floor
- Device speed — run the device faster or slower than the script while the picture keeps its normal pace, with an option to apply it to the stroke axis only
- Latency offset — nudge device timing against the picture until it lands right
BUILD MOTION THE SCRIPT NEVER HAD
Most scripts are stroke-only. Tandem can add the other axes itself — twist, roll, pitch, surge, sway and vibration — each with its own motion style, range, speed, timing and direction. Save a combination you like as a preset and apply the whole rig to any video in one click.
EDIT WITHOUT LEAVING THE PLAYER
Select a stretch of the timeline and raise or lower its peaks and valleys a step at a time, loop the region while you tune it, undo anything, and restore the untouched original whenever you want. Export the result as a new funscript, or save it — saving overwrites the .funscript in place, and keeps a one-time .bak of the original beside it.
VR
Play in your headset through DeoVR or HereSphere and Tandem keeps your device in sync with what the headset is actually playing.
BUILT FOR THE KEYBOARD
Thirty actions, all remappable, so a session never needs the mouse. The wheel over the picture adjusts depth. There is a single key that stops all motion instantly.
MAKE IT YOURS
Twenty-eight appearance presets, and one click turns the whole app over: window, cards, buttons, the script strip and the player. Underneath them are five pickers — colour, buttons, decoration, font and text size — and a few of the presets are dressed for the season. Four of the twenty-eight are in the free build.
Or build the look yourself. The theme editor gives you fourteen colours over any of the base looks and repaints the app as you drag them, and what comes out is a short block of text: paste it into a chat for someone else to paste back, or hand it over as a file. A theme is colours and nothing else — there is nothing in the format that can do anything to the app but recolour it — so one from a stranger is safe to try.
Tandem speaks English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Japanese. Every menu, dialog, button and message follows, and all five are in the free build.
SAFETY MODE
An optional password, asked for once each launch, before your library is drawn. Get it wrong three times, or press forgot, and Tandem opens on its empty Add-folder screen with nothing else on it, and forgets which folders the library used until you add them again. Your files are never touched — it keeps the library off the screen, not off the disk. The password is stored in plain text on that PC, and the dialog says so.
WHICH KEY
- Viewer, $30 — every cap lifted: the shaping, the region editor, the extra axes, every theme, Safety Mode and the tagging. Everything except the generator
- Full, $65 — Viewer, plus the generator: Regenerate, which makes a new stroke from the video's motion or its music, and Generate scripts, which makes one for every video you select, in the background
- Upgrade, $35 — turns a Viewer key into a Full key. Every key sold before October 23, 2026 is a Viewer key and keeps everything it unlocked. Pick the Upgrade option and paste your Viewer key into the box at checkout; you get a Full key back, and the Viewer key is retired once the Full key is sent
WHAT YOU GET
- Tandem Player 1.3.0 for Windows (64-bit), as a folder you unzip and run — no installer, nothing written to your registry, and nothing left running once you close it. While it is open it serves its own interface on 127.0.0.1, and once you have a key it makes one licence check a launch — two on a launch that has to unlock again — and it listens on your LAN only once you switch library sharing on for a headset
- A Viewer or Full key, delivered the moment your payment clears — one PC per key, and you can move it to another PC: the first move free, after that once every 30 days
- Free updates, forever — no matter which version you bought at
REQUIREMENTS

- Your own video files and .funscript files
